In this comprehensive guide, we will gradually guide you to accurately install curtain rods. Whether you are an experienced DIY enthusiast or a novice in home decoration projects, our instructions will help you create exquisite and professional curtains.
Step 1: Determine the installation location
For non convex windows: Place the rod at the center of the window width.
For bay windows: Place the pole in the center of the wall width.
Position A: The distance from the bracket to the decorative head is about 5cm. B
Location: Distance from pole to top window frame: approximately 15-18cm.
(The distance can be adjusted according to specific circumstances; maintain a gap of at least 4cm between the pole and the ceiling.)
Step 2: Bracket installation
1. Measurement position: Measure the distance from the top window frame to the ceiling to determine the installation position of the bracket.
2. Mark hole position: After determining the installation position, use a pencil to mark on the wall through the bracket screw hole. Place the bracket aside and use a hammer drill to drill holes at the marked locations. Insert the wall plug, fix it with screws, and then secure the bracket.
3. Installation bracket: For the rod cut in half, use three brackets. Install a bracket in the middle. Ensure that all three brackets are on the same horizontal plane.
Step 3: Connector installation
If the rod is cut in half, a connector is required. Gently squeeze the small connector to curl it slightly, then insert it into one end of the rod (ensuring that the notch of the connector is not aligned with the sound insulation strip of the rod). Next, insert the other half of the connector into another rod.
Step 4: Rod installation
Thread the curtain fabric with hanging rings/pre installed perforated rings onto the pole.
Install the decorative head or end cover and firmly tighten the fastening screws on the decorative head.
Place the curtain rod on the bracket and leave a hanging ring or perforated ring between the bracket and the decorative rod (for double rods, insert all hanging rings of the thin gauze curtain rod into the bracket)
Ensure that the sound insulation strip is facing upwards
Press the curtain rod into the automatic buckle bracket and support it with one hand under the buckle groove when inserting
If the bracket is fixed with screws, make sure to tighten the screws on the slot tightly.
Note: The above installation instructions can be adjusted according to specific circumstances.
